We priced every provider in our comparison set in August 2026 and sorted them by what you actually pay, not by what they advertise. The gap between those two numbers is the whole problem with shopping for GLP-1s: a $99 headline frequently becomes $349 by month five, and a $249 all-inclusive price frequently turns out cheaper across a year. Here are the verified numbers.
Cheapest compounded semaglutide
| Provider | Price | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Trimi | $99/mo | Annual plan, flat at every dose |
| Cora Health | $99/mo | Annual plan, flat at every dose |
| GobyMeds | From $99/mo | No auto-renewal, LegitScript certified |
| Strut Health | $99/mo | Oral formulation only |
| Amble | $135/mo | 12-month term; $179 for a single month |
| Curex | From $149/mo | Plus a $9.99 consultation |
Cheapest tirzepatide — where the real money is
| Provider | Price | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Trimi | $125/mo | Annual plan, flat at every dose |
| Fifty 410 | From $133/mo | No subscription at all |
| TMates | From $167/mo | Range runs to $297 |
| Bodybuilding Health+ | $174.67/mo | 6-month plan paid upfront |
| Alloy | ~$199/mo | $100 medication + $99 monthly fee |
| LillyDirect (Zepbound) | $449/mo flat | FDA-approved brand-name, 7.5–15 mg |
Tirzepatide is where provider choice makes the biggest financial difference. The spread from $125 to $449 is over $3,800 a year for the same molecule — though the $449 buys an FDA-approved product rather than a compounded one.
Cheapest if you have insurance
Coverage changes the answer completely, and it is worth checking before you evaluate a single cash-pay provider.
- Medicare GLP-1 Bridge — $50/month flat. From July 1, 2026, for eligible Part D enrollees. Covers Wegovy, Zepbound, and Foundayo. This beats everything else on this page.
- Amazon One Medical — from $25/month. Oral GLP-1s with insurance. The lowest insured figure we have verified.
- WeightWatchers Clinic — ~$74/month + $0–$50 copay. The cheapest insured route with behavioral support included.
- Klarity Health — 400+ plans accepted. If your problem is finding a prescriber your plan works with rather than coverage itself.
The three traps in cheap GLP-1 pricing
1. Dose-based escalation. Most providers price by milligrams. Your $149 becomes $329 by month five without anything being hidden — it was in a pricing table you didn't read. Ask what the price is at your maintenance dose, not your starting dose.
2. Membership plus medication. A $99 membership plus $150 medication is $249, but it appears in comparison tables as $99. Always compare all-in totals.
3. Introductory rates. A $39 or $149 first month tells you nothing about month seven. Budget against the ongoing rate.
Why annual commitments are cheaper and riskier
Both $99 semaglutide rates on this page — Trimi and Cora Health — require a twelve-month commitment. So does Trimi's $125 tirzepatide.
Roughly a fifth of GLP-1 patients discontinue early because of side effects. An annual prepayment converts that clinical outcome into a financial loss of $1,188 or $1,500.
The sequence that solves this: start somewhere with no commitment — Amble sells a single month outright for $179, Zealthy's first month is $39, Fifty 410 has no subscription at all — confirm you tolerate the medication through two titration steps, then move to an annual plan. You pay a few hundred dollars more in the first quarter and eliminate the downside entirely.
The short answer
- On Medicare: the GLP-1 Bridge at $50/month.
- Insured: check Amazon One Medical ($25 oral) and WeightWatchers Clinic before anything else.
- Cash-pay, semaglutide: Trimi or Cora Health at $99, after confirming tolerance elsewhere.
- Cash-pay, tirzepatide: Trimi at $125, or Fifty 410 at $133 if you won't commit to a year.
- Want FDA-approved: LillyDirect at $449 flat, or Walgreens from $149.
